Artist:
Hugo Hidalgo, a little about myself and who I am...

I was born in Los Angeles California, some time in the 60's, LOL. I grew up in S. California having a please ant childhood growing up with good family & friends, most of us managing to do well and attend college becoming Doctors, Lawyers, Policemen, Firemen, Servicemen and yes of course an Artist!

I come from very humble beginnings and consider my self from the "Old School" of thought. When a hand shake and a mans word was as good as a contract. Growing up around the old guys who fought in WWII and Korea gave me a sense of honor and gratitude for living in a great era of change, peace and technology. Of course I had my days LOL.

I served in the United States Air Force from 1983-1990, as a Weather Specialist, allowing me to travel through Europe as a young man was an eye opener. Perhaps one of the biggest influences on my adult life was my experience in the military.

I began attending Long Beach City College in the fall of 1987, I then recieveing my Associates Degree, an Honorable Discharge from the USAF and my acceptance to Art Center College of Design in the Fall of 1990. Attending Art Center College of Design was one of the most challenging things I did up to that point, including anything I had done in the Air Force and that says a lot. However with much hard work and some Scholarships I finally achieved my goal and graduated in 1994.

Since then I have worked in many different jobs and companies most in the entertainment industry as an Artist, Designer, Illustrator, Graphic Artist, and Web Designer. My work has included, Fine Art, Illustration, Print Design, Web Design, Toy Accessories, Display and Prop Design. I'm some what of a "Jack of all Trades", good with a hammer, saw, brush, pencil and key board. I truly enjoy making things and being creative. Well I've made it this far, lets see what the future holds.
